Gadsden County Project
GADSDEN COUNTY COMMUNITY EVENT
On Saturday, April 21st, the Rural South Public Health Training Center hosted a community event to showcase the hard work of the center’s interns from the University of Florida and the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
This collaborative event allowed health educators, researchers, community members, interns and public health professionals to share in a dialogue about HIV prevention and awareness in rural, underserved, minority communities. The interns who worked on the project discussed the lessons they learned and the positive impact of working collaboratively in the community as they prepare to enter the public health workforce.
Congratulations to the graduating interns of the Rural South Public Health Training Center!

The event was hosted at the Gadsden Community Arts Center
