Earning Continuing Education Courses

CE credits:

If you would like to earn CE credits for the monthly training sessions.  Please follow this procedure:

  • From www.RuralSouthPHTC.phhp.ufl.edu – click on the CEUs tab – then Sessions
  • Locate this Session Title/Month – click on the Pre-Test quiz button (this is very important if you want the CE credits)
  • Open the Session link and view Session
  • *** The Rural South Public Health Training Center uses iTunes U to view its Continuing Education Courses, if you have not downloaded iTunes you can at: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
  • After the session, go back to the Session site and click on the Post-Test quiz button – you must score a 70% minimum to earn your CE credits – you may review the session and retake the quiz.
  • Some sessions may have activities that must be completed before taking the Post-test and denoted by a Post-test Activity button
  • Participants shall receive an electronic CE credit certificate for EACH activity in which they participate.
  • Participants will receive CE credit certificates within 8 weeks of their participation in an activity.
  • Suwannee River AHEC will post CE credit to the state mandated CE registration database for all qualifying participants within 8 weeks of their participation in an activity.
  • Participants must provide the requested information in order for Suwannee River AHEC to issue certificates and post credit to CE Broker.

                     -  Legible name

                     -  Email address and/or certificate mailing address

                     -  Professional license number

  • Participants not completing the post-activity evaluation or those not attending the full duration of the activity will not be eligible for CE credit.
  • Participants may take any specific activity only once per biennium for CE credit (or until they receive a passing post-test score)

“Suwannee River Area Health Education Center, Inc., is a Florida Boards of Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling and the Council of Dietetics/Nutritionists approved provider of continuing education, CE Broker Provider ID #50-1922. This program meets the requirements for up to 1.0 contact hours.
